Jeff Apruzzese is an Assistant Professor and researcher with a distinguished background in both the academic and professional realms of the music industry. As a founding member of the band Passion Pit, which was signed to Columbia Records, Jeff achieved significant commercial success, earning top 10 records, gold and platinum certifications, performing at sold-out arenas such as Madison Square Garden, and making appearances on Saturday Night Live and The Late Show with David Letterman.

Currently serving as faculty at Drexel University, Jeff teaches courses on live music, touring, copyright, publishing, and data analytics. His research centers on consumer behavior in both live and recorded music sectors. With deep expertise spanning both music performance and business, Jeff offers a rare and comprehensive perspective on how these fields intersect.
